The packaging left a lot to be desired. One box of fish had begun to thaw and we hope that it will be okay to eat. The temperatures have been in the high 90s and dry ice should have been included in the box.

When the fish first came there were many packages unfrozen due to the heat and UPS delivering this package at the end of the day instead of the first. I emailed the company as instructed but did not get a response. When I left a negative review they contacted me and explained that the new system was directing their emails elsewhere than their inbox. They handled the problem quickly and efficiently replacing the product at no charge. We do this every year around salmon season, ordering enough salmon for the year. We will for sure use this company next year in June. Thank you for everything you did!

My 10 pounds of wild sockeyed salmon fish arrived beautifully packed in two boxes placed inside an insulated bigger box with dry ice.
I was so impressed with the package because it arrived on one of our hottest days with 100 degree temps and yet it all stayed frozen.
I love the 1 pound sealed bags because they are easy to defrost in the fridge and the ground fish once opened is super fresh, nicely ground and mixes well with everything.
I made salmon patties and they were fresh and delicious. There was enough in my bag to make 8 decent sized patties and they were scrumptious!
I was so busy enjoying them that I forgot to take pictures. Lol!
Honestly, I'm usually very diligent with photography because I love writing reviews and sharing good stuff, but I think because I had an appointment the day they arrived, I was in a hurry to unpack and put them in my freezer.
Later, I came home, made my patties, enjoyed eating them and loving the taste so much that the photos were skipped again. I will have upload more photos next time.
Hands down, these are delicious, fresh and well priced. I love the 10 pound ground salmon I received as it exceeded my expectations.
I had to double-check the price I usually pay for wild soakeyed salmon in my local store just to be reminded of the huge price difference.

Most nutritionist, doctors and healthcare professionals are recommending salmon two to three times a week for those over 65. I'd never had sablefish before, so this was somewhat of a gamble to buy 5 lb. of it. Well, the gamble paid off. First dinner was a simple prep, just salt, pepper, and a pan sauté with avocado oil and butter.
It turned out great and it will be a regular in my fish rotation. Also, I had read that you have to remove the pin bones in sablefish and I was surprised to find that the fillet was already boned. Overall, a great tasting white fish.
